  • Depart: Port Moresby for Wewak by PX148 1440/1650
  • Arrive in Wewak and check in at Hotel

Day 2: Sat 30th OCT 2010

  • After Early Breakfast (or Box Breakfast), depart Wewak to Pagwi by Truck (approx 3& 1/2 hours)
  • Start Motor Canoe Safari from Pagwi
  • Visit Haus Tambaran at middle Sepik villages and check in at Ambunti Lodge
  • Meal: BLD (o/n Ambunti)

Day 3: Sun 31st OCT 2010

  • Depart Ambunti for Upper Sepik Villages by motor canoe
  • Meal: BLD (o/n Ambunti)

Day 4: Mon 01St NOV 2010

  • Early morning visit Wagu lake to see dance of Bird of Paradise. Also visit Crocodile farm in the village
  • Back to Ambunti and terminate the Canoe Safari at Pagwi
  • Road Transfer to Wewak
  • Meal: BL (o/n Wewak)

Day 5: Tue 02nd NOV 2010

  • Early morning depart Wewak for Madang by PX125 0610/0650
  • Transfer to Hotel for check in
  • Afternoon Town tour including Coast Watcher Memorial, German Cemetery, Museum Local market etc.

Day 6: Wed 03rd NOV 2010

  • Full day visit the Island (snorkeling possible) along the Madang Reef

Day 7: Thu 04th NOV 2010

  • Depart Madang to Port Moresby by PX111 1130/1230 and transfer to Hotel for check in
  • Afternoon Port Moresby Highlight Tour including National Parliament, Botanical Garden etc.

Day 8: Fri 05th NOV 2010

  • Dapart Port Moresby to Alotau by PX954 1000/1100
  • Upon arrival in Alotau, transfer and check in at Hotel

  • Guided land tour: Kundu & Kanu Festival
  • Experience the Kundu and Kanu Festival first hand. This is an annual event and one of the biggest and a must see festival in Alotau. This festival is an unique display of traditional war canoe races; displaying skillful sailing and paddling of up to 50 people in a single canoe! A beautiful display of Milne Bay’s maritime heritage and culture, including traditional dances, singing, and ‘Barter System’ which is still practiced today in some parts of Milne Bay

Day 10: Sun 07th NOV 2009

  • Guided Kundu & Kanu Tour from Sea- Boat ride alongside the actual canoe racing and experience it close up

  • Arrive: Port Moresby and depart for respective flights – CNS/BNE/SIN
